Today, on 21 October 2021, ISOC Rwanda Chapter joined the world in celebrating Global Encryption Day 2021 by hosting a workshop with focus on Understanding the role of encryption in Education.
Today, on 6 October 2021, ISOC Rwanda Chapter signed a partnership agreement with G.S St TITE BUTERERI located in Bugesera district.
The purpose of the signed partnership agreement is to work together in promoting the upbringing of children’s education in Internet technology as the foundation of knowledge and excellency for the benefit of the Rwandan society.
This was stated by Renee NYIRAMISAGO, teacher of G.S KIBUNGO after being trained by ISOC Rwanda Chapter in a three-days Internet for Education workshop on computer basics, Microsoft Office, Internet Essentials and how Internet can facilitate education.
On 10th September 2021, ISOC Rwanda Chapter has participated in a 6-days workshop organized by Groupe Scolaire Nyirarukobwa with the goal of encouraging all teachers of the school to use technology in their teaching activities.
This was revealed by MUHIRE Jean de la Croix, a teacher of science at G.S NYIRARUKOBWA located in NTARAMA Sector, BUGESERA District after receiving a smartphone from Internet Society Rwanda Chapter in SMART TEACHER project.
This was reiterated by Emmanuel Mfitumukiza, Chair of ISOC Rwanda Chapter in the conclusion of 3 days Internet for Education Workshop at G.S Mwendo.
Today, Internet Society Rwanda Chapter has concluded a three days Internet for Education Workshop for Teachers with the goal of empowering Teachers with Digital Skills to enhance the use of Internet in Education.
The Internet is for everyone, this means that everyone has equal rights to the Internet and that no one deserves to be deprived of the benefits of the Internet. Chair of ISOC Rwanda Chapter, Emmanuel Mfitumukiza says during the launch of Digital Library Project.
