From 6 -24 February 2024, Internet Society Rwanda joined the world to celebrate Safer Internet Day 2024 to raise awareness of the importance of both a safer and better Internet where everyone is empowered to use the Internet responsibly.

Every year, Safer Internet Day (SID) celebrations are organized around the globe to raise awareness on the importance of both safer and better Internet by reaching out to children and young people, parents and carers, teachers, educators and social workers, as well as industry, decision makers, politicians and civil society to encourage everyone to play their part in creating a better internet for young People.

Each year on Safer Internet Day, millions of people join forces “Together for a better internet” to inspire positive change online, raise awareness of online safety issues, and participate in activities across the globe.

To celebrate SID 2024 edition,ISOC Rwanda through Rwanda Safer Internet Day Committee organised celebration events in 4 partner schools to promote a responsible use of the Internet in the local communities.
