The Internet Society Rwanda Chapter (ISOC Rwanda), in partnership with G.S Kibungo in Bugesera district, concluded a digital parenting and online safety training program on October 4, 2024. This initiative aimed to equip parents with essential mobile digital literacy and online safety skills to better protect their children from digital risks.
The Rwanda School on Internet Governance (RW-SIG) 2024 was hosted over two days, from the 3rd to the 4th of September 2024, in Kigali, Rwanda under theme ” Building a Multi-stakeholder digital future”.
In partnership with Relief and Development Support Organisation (RDSO),ISOC Rwanda Concluded a 5-days training for rural youth of Kayonza district.

Today, On 5th April 2024 at GS Butereri in Bugesera District, A five-days workshop on remote learning and online Safety was concluded. The workshop brought together teachers of the school at all levels to acquire knowledge on remote learning tools, privacy and Digital footprints.
From 6 -24 February 2024, Internet Society Rwanda joined the world to celebrate Safer Internet Day 2024 to raise awareness of the importance of both a safer and better Internet where everyone is empowered to use the Internet responsibly.
On Tuesday, 8 February 2022 ISOC Rwanda Chapter through Rwanda Safer Internet Day Committee with Safer Internet Day (SID) supporters celebrated the 3rd edition of SID in Rwanda with a theme once again of “Together for a better internet”, the day called upon all stakeholders to join together to make the internet a safer and better place for children and young people to learn and innovate.
This was requested by Eric MUHIRWA, Head Teacher of G.S MAYANGE A in the closing ceremony of the Internet for Education workshop held at G.S MAYANGE A from 28 to 30 December 2021.
From 20 to 24 December 2021, ISOC Rwanda Chapter organized a chapter week to build a volunteer centered culture among its members and to build a strong and lasting relationship with partners and stakeholders.
This was stated by teachers of G.S ST TITE BUTERERI after establishment of the Internet Infrastructure in the school and being trained on the role of the Internet in education by the ISOC Rwanda Chapter through the Connecting G.S ST TITE BUTERERI project.
